FSAE FORMULA RACE CAR

  • Designed, built and raced a Formula FSAE racecar
  • Chief Engineer responsible frame, suspension and braking system
  • Wrote and presented the project Design Report for the competition
  • Performed hand calculations that evolved into spread sheets for vehicle stresses and braking design
  • Utilized fabrication skills to machine and weld vehicle components
  • Independent Study: Design and Manufacturing of a Formula SAE racecar. Created kinematic program in MatLab to define vehicle roll centers
  • Skills gained from this project made it possible to a gain job working for the ME department to assist Professors and other students with their own projects
